THE PLACE – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

WHAT: Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event for THE PLACE – a youth drop-in center operated in the Marquette Recreation Center as the result of a partnership between Thomas Dunn Learning Center and the St. Louis City Recreation Center Programming. This will be a new opportunity to engage and empower Dutchtown/Gravois Park area youth ages 13 – 22.

THE PLACE is designed to provide a safe place for youth to further develop their educational and life skills by providing them with mentors and variety of community resources. THE PLACE is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 3 – 6 PM starting the week of June 3rd with an expansion of hours when school starts in the fall.
