This Is Casually Happening: A Comedy Showcase

On Wednesday, August 23rd, at 7:30pm, the comedy showcase This Is Casually Happening will be making its City Winery St. Louis debut at The City Foundry. Headlining will be comedian Tina Dybal. Recently touring venues around country with Chelcie Lynn and Libbie Higgins, Tina has also been seen performing in the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles, CA, and the Flyover Festival in St. Louis, MO. She was also the winner of the 2018 Funniest Comedian In St. Louis Competition with Helium Comedy Club St. Louis. Tina has been recognized by local news sources such as the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Fox2 News.

Featuring on the line-up will be comedians Mary Jayne and Angela Smith Winfrey. Mary Jayne was voted Comedian of the Year in 2021 and has performed in venues such as Helium Comedy Club St. Louis, The Funny Bone, and independent venues around the Midwest. Angela Smith Winfrey has also performed in the Flyover Comedy Festival, in addition to being an opener for traveling comedians at Funny Bone St. Louis and Helium Comedy Club St. Louis. Smith Winfrey also featured in City Showcase: Comedy At The Fox last April 2021, a showcase at the historic Fox Theater produced by Chris Denman of MidCoast Media that featured some of the top comedians based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Comedian and producer of the show, Mollie Amburgey, will be hosting the evening. Amburgey is the host of the podcast Casually Mollie, which includes interviews with comedians and entertainers both locally and around the country. She also performs regularly in the St. Louis area and has been interviewed on the Big 550 KTRS and St. Louis On The Air with St. Louis Public Radio.
