Tom Lang: Scratching

On September 25th 2020 Tom Lang will offer a Virtual Exhibition “Scratching” originally intended to be presented at Webster University in the Cecile R. Hunt Gallery. While Lang has had many solo shows in the U.S. and abroad Scratching would have been his first exhibition at Webster where he served as Chair of the Department of Art, Design and Art History, and where he has taught for 49 years. Although this exhibition will not be a retrospective in his own word’s ” at a certain point everything is a kind of retrospective.” The virtual exhibition of Scratching will show a selection works created in the past year and a half which are assembled with important nods to the many years of making art. Join us Friday September 25th from 6 to 7pm. Zoom information below.
