Tunnel Books Workshop

Tunnel Books are a form of bookbinding dating back to the mid 1800’s. Inspired by theatrical set designs and used to commemorate major events like the Worlds Fairs, these fun books use layers of images viewed from the front to create a 3-D effect. In the first session of this class, we will decorate our book covers and begin work on collaging the inner pages. In the second session of this class we will assemble our covers and pages, using accordion folded spine pieces. Participants are welcome to bring their own decorative paper and collage material if desired.

Please note, this two-day class takes place on Tuesdays, August 13 + August 20 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
