Upcycled Garden Art Workshop

Turn those unwanted kitchen utensils + more into colorful art for the garden! In this class, participants will learn how to identify materials that are great for outdoor garden art. Participants will design their pieces from reclaimed materials, and will discover ways to connect metal components (without welding them!), which will involve the addition of wood or metal hardware. With salvaged house paint, we’ll add pops of color to our pieces to create sweet sculptural creations to take home for your yard.

Please note: we are making stationary (not kinetic) sculptures. If you diverge from the suggested design, you may need to paint outside of class time.
