WCHOF Music Series: Dastoor-Woods Duo

Feel the drama and passion of the violin-piano repertoire presented by the Dastoor-Woods Duo! Formed at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, the Dastoor-Woods Duo partners World Chess Hall of Fame Music Director Brian Woods with award-winning Canadian violinist Daniel Dastoor. The program includes Poulenc’s harrowing World War II-era Sonata for Violin and Piano, Fritz Kreisler’s virtuosic Viennese Rhapsodic Fantasietta, concluding with Brahms’ intensely romantic Sonata for Piano and Violin in D Minor, Op. 108.
