Director of Research, College of Optometry, University of Missouri – St. Louis

Carl Bassi, Ph.D., Professor and Director of Research at the UMSL College of Optometry talks about ongoing projects from his lab including work with macular pigment (a protective blue filter in the eye), the foldscope (an origami folded microscope), and “Triple Track Technology” found on the new Callaway golf balls. The “eyes” have it in this fascinating talk on innovation in vision research you won’t want to miss!
