Works from the Studios: 8th Biennial Juried Exhibition

Award Presentation: 6:00pm

This biennial juried exhibition represents the quality work created by artists who have been inspired in the studios of Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design. Juror Melody Evans selected works that not only demonstrate the talent of Craft Alliance’s students, but also the dedication and guidance of it’s committed faculty.

The high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail and sensitivity to materials is evident in each work – so much so, that this biennial exhibition acts as a sort of state-of-craft for our region, representing the breadth and depth of contemporary craft-based exploration.

The Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design’s two education centers, one on the Delmar Loop in University City, and the second in the Grand Center Arts District of St. Louis, serve adults and children annually through instruction and demonstration by professional artists in clay, glass, metal, fiber and wood.
