Emily Parker joined the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) in the spring of 2018. Previously, she worked for Washington University School of Medicine as a graduate medical educator in neonatology and in obstetrics/gynecology.
In her current role, Emily is the assistant to the executive director of RAC. She is the liaison to the Board of Commissioners, coordinates internal and external meetings for RAC, and assists in the internal accounting procedures and the annual audit. Emily serves on RAC’s Culture and Engagement Committee, Executive Leadership Team, as well as the Special Events Committee.
As a photographer, Emily almost always has a camera strapped to her. She enjoys shooting architectural, street, travel, and wildlife photography. Emily enjoys visiting museums, watching theatre performances, and attending concerts. She has a background in dance and musical theatre. Emily’s true passion is traveling and exploring new cultures and foods.
Emily earned a B.S. in law enforcement and justice administration and a B.S. in forensic psychology from Western Illinois University.
