James F. Anderson

Director of Grants

James F. Anderson was born and reared in St. Louis, growing up in North County, before settling in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood. He earned a B.F.A. from Creighton University, where he focused on sculpture and bronze casting.

Prior to RAC, he spent five years managing a local nonprofit’s community garden program. You can still find him in his backyard garden, where he also tends a flock of chickens. In his spare time, you can find him in his woodworking shop and sculpture studio or volunteering in his neighborhood.
