Stephen Da Lay

Assistant Building Coordinator

Stephen Da Lay joined the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) in 2016 as a building coordinator. In this role, Steve facilitates building and gallery events with set-up, logistics, customer service, and general facility oversight. As an artist and art instructor, Steve has been instrumental in curating the artwork throughout the facility and most recently, assisted with the curation of the 2019 Hal Poth: Off the Wall exhibition.

In 2015, Stephen graduated from the Community Arts Training (CAT) Institute at RAC.

Stephen received a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute with a major in printmaking. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where he teaches drawing, design, and watercolor painting. He also ran the woodshop.

Stephen is a printmaker whose work has been showcased locally, nationally, and internationally. Recently, his work has been focused on the construction and the development of polyhedrons using printmaking. His work has also been featured in various publications locally (All the Art), nationally, and internationally.
