
Recently joining the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, Tony Chance is the Vice President of Finance and Operations. In his new role, Tony oversees all phases of finance, budgeting, accounting and operational functions for RAC. This includes management of external business and professional partnerships, contracts and assisting in long-range financial planning. His experience lies in budgetary and strategic financial planning, along with policy design and implementation. Tony has proficiency in operations management, budget creation, human resource management, employee relations, compensation and benefit administration.
Tony has more than 19 years of finance and operations leadership experience. He’s held business leadership positions with a variety of organizations including Hancock Place School District, Warren County R-III School District, Mexico School District, Chesterfield Day School and the Animal Protective Association (APA). Tony also has entrepreneurial experience, owning his own business for 11 years.
Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and has a master’s degree in Accounting from Fontbonne University. Tony also serves as a board member of two charitable organizations. The first is the Housing Partnership, who’s mission is to create and preserve healthy and affordable homes, support financially stable households, as well as facilitate commercial development in Lemay, MO. There he serves on three separate committees and holds the position of Board Treasurer. The other organization on which he serves is a family directed charitable foundation. Tony also enjoys playing golf, sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
