ST. LOUIS (October 20, 2016) – The Regional Arts Commission of St Louis (RAC) will host two Grantseeker Information Workshops for nonprofit organizations that produce arts related programs on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm and Monday, November 14, 2016 from 9:00am – 10:30am at RAC, 6128 Delmar Blvd in St Louis, MO. The workshops, which are free and open to the public, will provide interested organizations with important information regarding both the General Operating Support (GOS) and Program Support grant opportunities
The upcoming 2017-2018 grant cycle will see the continuation of the GOS and Program Support funding categories which together provide more than $4.2 million in unrestricted core support and project-related funding to a broad range of nonprofit groups throughout the region. Both funding programs offer much needed financial assistance to nonprofits whose programs enable people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the arts and have opportunities for creative expression.
“We highly encourage any nonprofit organization seeking funding through either grant program to attend one of the workshops,” said Felicia Shaw, RAC executive director. “The workshops are excellent opportunities to learn about changes to our eligibility criteria, ask questions about our review process, network with other potential applicants, and determine if our grant is the right fit for your program or organization,” she said.
The workshops will appeal to both returning applicants as well as new-comers. The 2017-2018 annual grant cycle officially opens December 1, 2016. The workshops are free but registration is required. To register, visit https://racgrantseekerworkshops.eventbrite.com
