Spring Dance is a perfect example of Dennis Smith’s artwork; the bronze sculpture depicts two spirited children who expressively convey the joyous feeling of a spring day. The two girls seem to dance for joy with arms outstretched and faces lifted toward the sky. These two bronzes are the first casts from the artist’s edition of nine. The sculpture was purchased for the site by the office tower’s development group. Spring Dance now stands outside J. Buck’s restaurant in Clayton.
