ST. LOUIS (August 8, 2018) – The Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) announces a new round of Artist Support Grants opened August 6, with a deadline of September 20. These grants provide direct funds for St. Louis area artists’ projects, needs, and creative opportunities in all disciplines.

Established in 2013 as a result of a comprehensive survey of St. Louis artists, RAC Artist Support Grants have provided funds of up to $3,000 each to more than 300 artists in all disciplines for creative projects, professional opportunities, or equipment needs.

Direct support enables diverse artists of all disciplines to advance their careers and to complete creative projects. The grants are designed to be flexible, accessible, and to encourage creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship with a sustained commitment to artistic work.
