Gregory Maurice is a poet, writer, actor and creative. Since 2012, he has been a poet facilitator for Urbstetiks, Inc. and The Saint Louis Poetry Slam. He has been on 6 Saint Louis Poetry Slam Teams and is currently the Slam Master since 2020. As a documentary filmmaker, he is producing a Poetry Slam documentary titled “Keep the Flame Lit ”. Gregory Maurice is working on his first one-man stage play, poetry chapbook and album titled “Silence Isn’t Always Golden” debuting in 2024. Having a passion for community and serving people, Gregory Maruice became communications specialist for The New African Paradigm Study Group, partnering with Sabayet Inc. and Better Family Life Inc. to bring a lecture series of cultural speakers to the region of Saint Louis City. He is one of two founders of the creative agency GC Studios LLC, focusing on branding and marketing for startups. After leaving US Bank Corp as a Credit Specialist for 8 years, he would become a 2023 CAT cohort and co-founder of the Prosperity Path Makers and launched an art and music project called “The Blessing Project” giving free art supplies and instruments away to those in need.
