About the artist:
Sculpture Boira Mteky hails from Harare, Zimbabe, and was among the founding members of English artist Frank McEwen’s Workshop School. During his time there he experimented with several of the hard stones native to the area, including serpentinite, granite, limestone, and springstone. His pieces are currently on view at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe and the Chapungu Sculpture Park.
