About the artist:
Over the course of his prosperous artistic career, American sculptor Stanley Bleifeld received a multitude of prestigious awards, including Sculptor of the Year in Pietrasanta and the World (2004), the Henry Hering Memorial Medal of the National Sculpture Society (of which he was president from 1991-1993), the Medal of Liberty from the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Shikler Award from the National Academy of Design.
