Four Shades

Category: Miscellaneous

About

The title of this piece, Four Shades, is a reference to the four different types of trees used in this garden installation. Finlay is a poet, sculptor, and gardener famous for merging these three artistic tendencies, so it is no surprise that the title of this sculpted landscape is a play on words. The four trees are arranged in an alternating pattern around a circular mound of earth.
