About the artist:
Janet Sanders and Saaba Buddenhagen
Sanders, a painter, and Buddenhagen, a sculptor, have done extensive work in partnership with the Clay School in Hyde Park to help local children and teens develop professional skills. Their projects instilled in them a growing connection to Hyde Park itself, and eventually the two applied for a Bi-State Arts-In-Transit grant to fund their efforts to transform the corner bus stop into a creative aesthetic destination.
