About the artist:
Sculptor Bobbie Carlyle is best known for her expertise with bronze. Her subjects range from figurative to liturgical, wildlife to western, depicted both on a miniature and monumental scale. Carlyle received her art degree from Brigham Young University in Utah, and has taught workshops at the Colorado Institute of Art. She cites Solon and Gutzon Borglum, Rodin, Daniel Chester French, and Michelangelo as her influences, and draws inspiration from the psychological nuances and struggles of everyday life.
