About Being Selected for the St. Louis Film Project
When I travel the world as a director and filmmaker, I’m always asked, “Why do you live in St. Louis?” St. Louis City has been my home for over two decades, and in that time, its relationship to filmmaking and cinema has been complicated. As I’ve been able to evolve my work and engage in the global dialogue that is cinema, it’s extremely exciting for the STLFP to align its support with my project and career at such a critical moment. I believe this significant step forward to engage filmmakers and help them elevate their work can and will have a lasting effect.
