Using historic slides, dramatic video, colorful props and vivid stories, Robert Fishbone, owner and co-founder of St. Louis’s premier mural making company ON THE WALL PRODUCTIONS, will guide you through a behind the scenes look of lost projects, bringing them to life, and will reveal the simple philosophy that underlies all of these works. Moving to St. Louis right after college with his late wife Sarah Linquist, they found their way to a first, then second monumental mural project which, after the creation of the iconic “Lindy Squared’, evolved into a full time career. He will also show how the work dramatically changed in 2015 by working with his daughter Liza Fishbone, and will address the challenges of a current project, the restoration of the landmark World’s Fair mural on the old Edison Brothers Building next to Hwy 64/40. A Q/A will follow. “We have a number of activities planned to mark this milestone anniversary, and are pleased to have High Noon host the kickoff event.” High Noon talks are casual, you can bring your lunch while enjoying quality drinks from Blueprint Coffee. Event address is 3301 Washington Avenue, and is part of the Kranzberg Arts District.
