The sculpture pulls the viewer toward the Center of Clayton with a work that is dynamic and whimsical. Compositional elements include a spun aluminum cone, a pinwheel suggesting motion and playfulness, and a series of aluminum and fiberglass drapes or skirts that seem to flutter, reflecting the energy from within the building.

Alice Aycock

b. 1946

Alice Aycock is an internationally distinguished artist of public sculpture and gallery works. Her work is in major museum collections in the United States and Europe. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, and received a B.A. from Douglass College and an M.A. from Hunter College. She was represented by the John Weber Gallery in New York City from 1976 through 2001.
