december Jam Art & Poetry on the Street

A unique and artful evening of Art and Poetry! Slam poetry performances will highlight the party, along with poems-on-demand from our band of in-house typewriter poets, music and street style-performers, games and prizes, and featuring an auction of spectacular, original art by artists featured in the pages of december Magazine. ‘Building Community Together’, this event benefits both december’s Writers & Artists Compensation Fund (nurturing writers and artists at every stage of their development) and UrbArts (“social arts” where poets, writers, actors, musicians, and visual artists create art that reflect the conditions and possibilities of their communities). Located in the spectacular Urban Ballroom on the 4th floor of the Kranzberg Arts Foundation .Zack building at 3224 Locust Street, 63103. $35 per person includes food and drink, and complimentary valet parking.
