GLASS ART SOCIETY ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS VIRTUAL THIS YEAR (Sweden location event was cancelled) and it’s FREE to watch! May 21-23, 2020

For anyone interested in glass art in its many forms and techniques, May 21 -23 has a schedule packed full of lectures on many topics, taped demonstrations, and
live hot glass demonstrations (go to www.glassart.org for the daily schedule of events). See and hear world famous glass artists; each story is amazing and unique! For example,
Josh Simpson who makes awesome planet paperweights, is married to an astronaut! She has taken his work into space!
Besides learning and being inspired, you have a chance to bid on some affordable unique glass art on the web site…one event is called the ‘goblet grab’ although this year you won’t
have to elbow the person next to you to claim the goblet you covet….
This event has discussions and art lectures that apply to all of us, whether you sew quilts or draw with crayons…. art is universal in its language and how we need it to express
ourselves and survive this crazy world.
Plan on attending Seattle 2021.
