Janet Evra

Vocalist, bassist, composer and songwriter Janet Evra performs on premier stages across the U.S. and Europe, blending traditional bossa nova, samba and Latin jazz with a modern twist. Performing songs in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French, Evra’s Coffee Concert debut will revisit French favorites from Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet, including “La Mer” “La Vie en Rose.” She will also explore some newer contributions to the French jazz genre from contemporary artists such as Pink Martini, Cyrille Aimee and Koop.
