Landmarks Lecture Series: “The Sutton and Rannells Families Homes and the Farms that Would Become Maplewood” by Doug Houser

Join Maplewood Historian Doug Houser to learn more about the homes of the two pioneer families of Maplewood: The Suttons and the Rannells. See images of the Rannells 1850 farm home, Woodside, which still exists today, and rare images of the Sutton “mansion” which is no longer present.

The Landmarks Association of St. Louis is proud to announce our inaugural 2024 Spring Lecture Series at our office in Soulard. Please join us for a diverse selection of talks covering the history, architecture, and culture of the St. Louis Region.

With assistance from the Regional Arts Commission, all lectures are FREE. Lectures are on Wednesdays, but times vary between midday and evening. Space is limited; Each lecture requires its own reservation.
