Artists move through multiple mediums and styles throughout their lives. Thomas McFarland, for instance, dreamed of being a blacksmith and forging iron; then, he moved to copper work, which he found immensely meditative. Eventually, he fell in love with the challenge of glassblowing, and today, he enjoys mixing all of his favorite mediums in new ways. At Third Degree Glass Factory, you can see his metal and glass works come together in a month-long exhibition.
