Miller’s Landing Day “The Legend of John Colter” New Haven, MO

Miller’s Landing Day “The Legend of John Colter” Festival is a free community event celebrating the founding of New Haven, Missouri as Miller’s Landing in 1836. It is a family friendly festival that begins at noon on Saturday, May 11, 2024 including a Children’s and Veteran’s Parade on the riverfront and ending that evening with a magnificent fireworks display. Children’s activities include barrel rides, The Monkey Bus, games and other contests. The Quilt Show will once again be at Zia’s on Front Street. The Lewis and Clark Re-enactors will be here to commemorate the Expedition’s passing by this site in 1804 as well as a John Colter re-enactor. The forecast promises no rain on that Saturday and the whole town is looking forward to celebrating New Haven’s history and welcoming visitors from far and wide
