Music Strategy

Today, St. Louis is a must stop for major concerts of any genre.

Yet some of our local artists, musicians, venues, and production workers have been left behind like a worn-out cassette.

Some have been impacted more than others as disparities and exclusionary efforts plagued and prevented shared success and growth.

It’s time to address these disparities and ensure the future of the music economy in St. Louis is not only sustainable, but profitable and inclusive.

We are in the beginning stages of this effort and want to ensure everyone (and we mean everyone!) is heard, valued, and welcomed in this important conversation.

This survey aims to gather quantitative feedback from the local music ecosystem, as well as data on the make-up of the St Louis music industry – its economic value, the number of industry professionals, availability of suitable music spaces, and beyond in order to fully capture the broader music ecosystem in St. Louis.

Each perception matters and is critical to developing a thriving music economy in St. Louis.

Be part of the conversation and share your experience!
