John Russell is a securities industry veteran and has been with Stifel Nicolaus for most of his career. He is senior vice president of investments and the branch manager for the Clayton office for Stifel. John has been a Chairman’s Council member for over 30 years.
Within the last few years, John has created and led the Russell Wealth Management Group. Managing clients’ financial needs and assisting them in pursuing their goals is the focus of the group. By providing clients with exceptional customer service, putting together a solid investment plan, and following through with long-term objectives, John’s team is able to help their clients pursue their financial targets.
New York City and St. Louis are both home to John. In addition to managing money while in NYC, John has also assisted in producing several shows on Broadway.
In addition to his board service on the Regional Arts Commission, John serves on several other boards including Brightpoint Health, a New York nonprofit that provides health services to the homeless with a $75 million annual budget, 700 employees and 14 clinics. His board service extends to other organizations of various disciplines including the Shakespeare Festival and Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts at Webster University. His past board affiliations include the Kevin Kline awards, Stages, Springboard, and Food Outreach.
John graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri in 1979 with a BA in business administration.
