Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Donnelly donated these two lifesize bronzes to the Missouri Botanical Garden in 2000. The figures depict the family’s daughters when they were 11 and 14. At the unveiling, both girls were presented with memberships and the sculptures were praised by the Director of Development as embodying “the delight all children find at the Garden.”
