Fun Ride

By Charles Houska
Category: Mural

About

Fun Ride takes a whimsical look at people and animals as they travel along a roadway that weaves in and out of the mural’s design. The chaotic and lively composition, which features stop signs, flowers, railroad tracks, and clowns, creates a compelling mural that draws people’s attention as they travel through the Metrolink station. Houska’s bold colors and thick black lines were inspired by pop-artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Keith Haring. This work can be found in Eads Transit Park on 2nd street near the MetroLink stop.
