Two 120″ x 33″ x 3″ panels of carved and painted wood by renowned local artist Michael Bauermeister flank the front entrance to the Regional Arts Commission building. They were commissioned by RAC as part of its commitment to developing opportunities for public art. The panels suggest a typical Missouri forest, depicting “sturdy trunks holding up a lush, leafy canopy.”
