Zerogee

By Paul T. Granlund
Category: Sculpture

About

Zerogee or “zero-g” refers to the lack of gravity in space. This piece is one of a series which includes two other pieces named “Apogee” and “Perigee,” space-age terms referring to the points in a satellite’s orbit farthest from and closest to the earth. Granlund takes these terms out of context to describe visually the effortless joy that characterizes a young family.
