RAC Announces Executive Director Search

St. Louis, Missouri (May 22, 2020) – The Regional Arts Commission (RAC) has retained Isaacson Miller, a national executive search firm, to assist in the recruitment of an Executive Director for RAC. Isaacson Miller is one of the country’s premier executive search firms. It has more than 38 years of experience in recruiting senior leaders for some of the top visual and performing arts and cultural organizations, foundations and grantmaking organizations, health and human service agencies, community economic development organizations, advocacy organizations, and educational institutions.

Mont Levy, chairman of the Regional Arts Commission, appointed a search committee comprised of Commissioners. Cheryl D.S. Walker, vice-chairman of the Regional Arts Commission serves as chair of the search committee. Other members of the committee include Commissioners: Rosalind Johnson, Vin Ko, Cynthia Kohlbry, Mont Levy, Andrea Purnell, and John Russell.

The Commission seeks an Executive Director who is a skilled leader and proven manager to lead RAC at a critical point in its history, offering boundless engagement, creativity, and guidance to both the organization and the multifaceted community it serves.

This is a unique opportunity for devising ways to implement aspects of an ambitious vision for the future of RAC and the St. Louis arts ecosystem,” said Mont Levy. Interim Executive Director, Celia Hosler will continue serving as Interim Executive Director during this transitional time.
