For New Year’s Eve, Casa Don Alfonso will offer an indulgent, five-course, prix-fixe menu, with the esteemed culinary team carefully crafting every dish.
Highlights include cannoli stuffed with winter vegetables; stir-fried lobster with burrata foam and black truffle; and shrimp and ricotta ravioli with tomato jus.
The third course truly sings with your choice of turbot paired with artichoke flakes, potato mille-feuille, mint and white wine cream; ossobuco served with gremolata and saffron velouté; roasted duck breast on a bed of pear purée, red berries, candied chestnuts and spinach; or cabbage dumplings plated with polenta and a red wine reduction.
From the restaurant’s 3,000-bottle collection, sommelier Martin Penn Griffin has also created wine pairings for the New Year’s Eve dinner.
Seatings will be offered at 5 and 8 p.m., each priced at $150 per person – plus, $85 per person if you want to add the wine pairings.
